      Sorry Larry,

the last shown vehicle is "only" a "schwere PanzerspƤhwagen (Fu) (Sd. Kfz. 232) (6 Rad)".

      Regards,

      Holger.

          Your Photo of a Sd.Kfz.232 6-Rad

Hello Larrister, to complete Holger's correction, it is a Sd.Kfz. 232 built on the chassis of a Magirus M206 lorry, one of three chassis types, on which Sd.Kfz. 231-232-263 6-Rad armoured cars were mounted on. The other were BĆ¼ssing-NAG G31 and Daimler-Benz Mercedes G3A. Further more, it shows some modifications made to these vehicles just before the war broke out. For further information just contact me. Late War photo

I won this picture on Ebay. it appears to be an Sdkfz 260? Of note are the awards, the cages black out light, and the fact that a soldier is wearing jackboots instead of the short boots. What surprised me was the writing on the back of the photo says January 1945! I need to find out a way to remove the glue and the black paper from the back of the photo to read the rest of the writing. I didn't think these armored cars survived at this late stage of the war. What unit could it be?
