Any KM?
Hi Guys,
Let me hasten to stress I love this thread and really appreciate all the fabulous contributors. I visit it regularly and am deeply grateful.
That said, why so few Kriegsmarine portraits? I've found various (few) KM portraits scattered about in various non-dedicated threads here and there, and the occasional one here, but few and far between.
There's no "showcase" thread for them and this excellent portrait thread seems the logical place to include them -- there are indeed a few scattered back in the pages of antiquity.
Is it because KM portraits are so rare or simply a lack of enough interest in the topic?
Anyway, I don't mind if this post is deleted eventually to clean up the thread but just wanted to get my plea out there!
Many thanks to Bill Petz and I'm hoping for the day he suddenly develops an intense fascination for collecting KM portraits!
Best regards,
---Norm

Norm,
Thanks for the compliments on my thread and to all who have contributed to this thread. I do not think I will suddenly acquire an intense interest in Kriegsmarine portraits...some folks have posted a few KM and I understand that you have a keen interest in them but I really don't want to see this thread deluged with alot of KM photos. As you have duly noted there is not a high interest in KM photos within this thread. I think a separate thread on KM would be more appropriate.
All the Best,
Bill

Just letting everyone know that I thought that it was a good suggestion to start a Kriegsmarine portraits thread.
So that I did.
