It is a British 2 pounder Anti-Tank Gun deployed for firing, ie. wheels removed.

If I had to guess as to the location I would say Flanders Belgium, but it could be Northern France too.

Excellent portraits....are you two competiing against each other???? I noticed an increase in activity from both of you...especially Marco who appears to have avidly taken up collecting all sorts of portraits these days and not just Fallschirmjaeger and other portraits from Italy. Good stuff Guys!

Collecting Wehrmacht portrait pictures (as well as documents and medals) is only a side hobby of mine.
My main focus is WW2 Allied militaria, specifically Australian, British and US as well as Vietnam militaria.

As far as Wehrmacht portraits goes I look for Gebirsjager, Heer and KM Coastal Artillery.
