            Todd,

Thanks for posting more of your portraits. It looks like you picked up a bunch of portrait negatives. I picked up some really interesting portrait negatives from my good friend Jim Haley.....he got hold a of very large cache of negatives that came out of a attic of a closed photo shop in Germany. I know he was letting go of most of the common ones....so I wonder if some of yours came from that source. Some of mine have made it into Marc Garlasco's recently released Flak Badge book.

Thanks Bill. I purchased this box of glass negatives in Omaha, NE about 10 years ago. The story behing them is that they did come out of a studio photo shop in Wiesbaden. He did sell a few of the negatives before I purchased the remainder all up. Here are a few more from the box.

                          Todd,

Well it wasn't Jim because his discovery was last year in Schwetzingen /kreis Heidelberg. Only a few were glass negatives. The interesting part were portraits taken in 1945 of Germans and then portrait negatives of GI's in occupying the area in 1945. About five years ago when I was working at Grafenwoehr, Germany I picked up a huge box of portrait negatives that came out of a shop in the former Czech Republic (when a part of it was called Sudetenland). A Good friend of mine in Nashville now has them in his collection. Bill
