Interesting. I have two or three fotos like this one. I was thinking POW? Without the Litzen I understand and have seen, but without the National Symbol / Hoheitsabzeichen...I think he was perhaps captured. Anythingo n the backside of the picture?

I thought POW as well....written on the reverse is Otto Haeseler Bielefeld/Westfl. By the way, the check is in the mail to your address in CA. - Bill
