ss knights cross holder
http://s1084.photobucket.com/albums/j409/sf695/Halbe/
Go to above link for a recent photo, taken on the last weekend of March (2011). ON the left is LAH Knight's Cross holder, Kurt Sametreiter, with his former LAH Kameraden, Manfred Thorn. Picture taken at the Friedhof in Halbe, south east of Berlin.
Herr Sametreiter does not respond to letters, etc. due to health and other reasons.
Thought some of you may like to see a still-active Waffen-SS Knights Cross holder? He turned 89 last week.
