    Another case ...

    Here is a case for a pilot badge that is similar. As Neil points out, this case will only accommodate a thin version of the badge.

    Note this one also has a wood base insert. This would certainly make it easier to have a nice, thin, well-defined hole for the pin to fit in. It also is slightly vaulted around the edges, giving it a particularly nice appearance, to better show off a nice quality badge.

    Please don't pry yours apart! Mine came that way --- I would never think about doing that myself. Interior shots below as well.

                Thanks for all the good words on this P/O badge & case. I have another P/O badge that I'll try to post this evening for opinions -- I've not seen one like it before and it has given me the jitters the last 17 years I've had it.

                Nice pilot badge case case Mike -- ours could have been made by the same manufacturer. I sent you a pm...

                  I have an early Juncker Pilot in a case also same as Mike. I agree with the comment previously that these are specially made for the early thinner badges where the eagle is more vaulted. They will not take the later heavy badge.
