    Luft P/O Badge Opinions Please

I'm a new member and have already learned a lot from what others have posted here. Well, now it's my turn. Please be patient with my first attempts at adding pics to a thread.

I'd appreciate opinions on this Juncker Pilot-Observer badge.

    Thanks.

    OK, another try...

I'll try one pic at a time (yes, I did read the "How to" on adding pics to a message)

I rarely compliment badges (afterall, this is pretty much just a money game - throw enough cash in the right direction and you can get some immaculate items), but...

              NICE, VERY NICE.

The inide is slightly curve-formed and has a nicely fitted area for the pin (not just a slice thru the material). The box is made from wood, but I don't have the cahones to pull it apart to look for interior/hidden markings or glue types...

                        Herc,

no need to pull it apart. I am 90% certain that its a good ´un.

                          Hi Herc,

Congrats I think there are very few collectors on this forum that made this kind of début. An absolute stunning and original PO badge.

Can't wait to see the rest of your collection

I only hope that it didn't start out as a pilot badge and now has the finish stripped of the wreath and the bluing removed from the eagle. The pics are not clear enough to say either way but the rivets look odd from the photo. Could you provide some closer pics?

Not saying it's fake... it's definitely an original Juncker but what it started as, I cannot determine from those pics.

Interesting the variations in finish on these PO's the hole between the legs is not filed out whereas others have none at all!

Case is a type that I have seen/heard of BSW's in & does not take the bulky 2nd patt types.

                              Regards,
                              Neil
