He meant the collector Max Aurich

Just wondering..., what were the qualifications to earn one of these, other than sitting in a basket with a pair of binoculars ?
I try to imagine some combat while hanging there, but I don't know how ..

They might've been a idea, but still think that all existing examples are fantasy.

Here is one a guy got in a collection of about 900 Pieces. Ignore the price on back, that was put on there by the previous owner of the collection now deceased.
When I saw it today I thought it to be a good badge not knowing what it was, I had never seen one before but after reading about them here that they are post war?

This eagle with the beak of a parrot, and hardware setup, it does not bode well

I agree with the others, It is reproduction..... and not a very good one & I hope he didn't pay the price that's on the tag.

Thanks! It came with a very large collection, there were a few pieces like this that were suspect. The collector that the collection belonged to passed in 2006. He put tags on the backs of most of the items, catalog numbers and prices he paid for each. Looks like he was taken on a few high end fakes, about 5 or 6 for good money.
He is deceased now so not sure if he ever knew it. May explain why he only had a few pieces like this in his collection, he may have gotten burned and stopped buying the more difficult stuff to find. Not sure.
                      Thanks for the info!
