I think the Erdkampf and the Flak are the coolest, but personally I really like combat badges. I do recognize the stunning beauty of the other Luftwaffe badges but I'm especially fond of the Erdkampf and Flak badges.

After much thought, and looking at all of my Luft badges and all the nice photos here on the WAF, I have to say that the observer gets my vote. I only own one of these. I just don't see many for sale. I like the heavy look of the badge and the thick eagle.
TR Luft badgs are all really nice in comparison to the other service branches, and picking a favorite is tough.

Whew! Tough call, the Luftwaffe badges are all such absolutely superb pieces so, besides Dietrich's PO in gold with Diamonds which cleans up, I went with the FJ...Together with the Erdkampf a close second. The rest come in near even with maybe a slight edge to the Observer!Cheers, Steve
