99.99% sure this is a fake - thought I would post it here and get your thoughts. We were cracking up about the feathers on the eagle's chest and legs - looks like a lion! Any insight into where, when, and by who this was made?

Seems there was a Souval ran a few production runs of these badges in the late 50s
Might of been a way to get around the no-Swaz rule in BR.

It is my understanding that there were no High Seas Fleet badges with diamonds awarded. Nor Minesweeper, Destroyer or Coastal Artillery.
Only the S-boat, U-boat and Auxiliary Cruiser (HSK) badges were awarded in diamonds, typically with an overlarge swaz.
