Have we not discussed this badge before or something very similar?, never seen the effect of the heat from the attachment of the catch and hinge before. Badge looks good at frist glance but not sure about it. Can you post a good close up of the maker mark.

I am intersted in the makers mark on this which although has slight different positioning to the letters looks very good. I have asked Martin if he can post some scans of his badge for discussion.

Here's a close up of the makers name with different alignment of lettering.The "L"in Berlin aligns with the center of the "W"in Schwerin.
