    Mayer Silver PAB

I would like to show my early Mayer Silver PAB.
The finish on the obverse side is almost Mint. The frosting is IMO 100% intact.
It is beautiful With polished swastika other highlights.

But if you take the time to weigh the evidence across the spectrum of EK1s, Heer and KM badges...more Schickle than Mayer.

                      Hi Daniel,

Don't know that I have any "fellows". I just present the logical conclusions as I see them based on all the currently available data and wait for any evidence to the contrary. We're all fellows in this discussion.

I can understand if some prefer to say "Schickle design" instead of "Schickle", at least recognizing that it appears in the Schickle catalog supplement. And given a choice between "Mayer" or your term "unknown maker" I prefer yours -- a less misleading middle ground. But considering the KM badge evidence and all the factors presented in the other thread, I personally prefer "Schickle attributed" as the best description at the moment.

                      Best regards,
                      ---Norm

Schickle or mayer, maybe we'll never know.
One thing is sure, it's a very nice badge
