Hi Adam,
I can only agree with the others, both fakes.
The Heer Flak is a 60s Souval fake.
TomIf it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a littleNew Book - The German Close Combat Clasp of World War II

I have one like this Souval copy. Made from zink with the following parameters weight is 32.9grams, height is 59.6mm and the width is 44.2mm. Here is pics of this example. It looks very similar to RS war period example, but stamped L/58.
Tom, are you sure they were produced in 60xxx, mine looks like made from original die or from leftover stuff.
Not long time ago I read the Tom's article in the International medal collector magazine about Assmann's L/64 mark and Mr. Brucker 2007 interview with Friedrih Assmann, where Brucker asked Mr. Assmann about S&L and RS after war production " F. Assmann acted completely surprised that any company would have risked their business and livelihood to illegally produce a few war souvenirs after the war, by most accounts, leftover stocks of war time badges were still readily available and sufficient to supply the souvenir hunters for many years after the war" ©
So, may be famous Souval catch was added later on some leftover original badges?
Any useful information about Souval after war production I can find?
