    IMO, your badge is original.

    Hi Frank.

    Thank you for the reply.

    Cheers.

Hi David. I think your Flak badge has attributes of an F&B as Frank said. I just started a thread on F&B's. Note that your pin, although unmarked, shares attributes of other known F&B pins. Also interesting that your semi-hollow design is the same as Frank's General Assault badge, and that the catch is near identical to the marked Destroyer badge and U-Boat badge.

PS...I should have asked sooner....Is your pin "buntmetal"?

Army Flak on Wehrmacht awards.com ref page

          Hello,
I have been following this thread with great intrest as the badge listed for an example on the pages of this website seems to have a seldom encountered head detail? I was hoping one of the primary posters on this subject would comment, is this an unmarked L 56 MARKED...FUNK & BRUNINGHAUS? I am using again the head detail for the link. I apologize for not being able to post the image from this site for an example.

          Thanks,
          Rob

            Dear Rob,

Good eye for detail, I also think the badge on our main pages is an unmarked L/56.

            Cheers, Frank
