It looks good to me as well but i must say that the "wear" on the leafs and eagle looks strange.

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

                  Hi Dion

I agree with Hans that the wear pattern is rather strange looking and that the badge is original. The poor detail in some areas such as the talons and eagle may be due to the thick chrome finish.

These RK IABs are are a bit of a mistery, as they come in many variants, and different finishes. There are several different leaf designs.

I believe in all cases the hinges are crimped in so I suspect your badge may have had a repair or the crimp did not hold.

Nice to see close up pics of the hinge area if possible

                  best regards
                  Graeme

Why yes it is Dave, Iam looking at yours and it has the exact spots where this finish/chrome was applied on heavier then the other areas. Thank You, do you know what type this is??

Not "chrome" but "glanz verzinkt" which translates roughly as shiney zinc plated. A finish that seems to have been used by some makers. I think these types have been written to R. Karneth bt know of no proof to back that up.
