    Chromed , Nickel IAB

    Hi

    I seen the damndest IAB yesterday but did not buy it. It was shiny almost chrome like, the details to the obverse were crap Eg Veins, etc.

    Iam sitting here thinking about it and must go back and get it. The only setback is the hinge was repaired. Anyone else see anything like this type of IAB?

      Like Giel says, some pics would be nice.

      There are a couple of IAB types that can be found with a Chrome like finish but yet again with out no pics it could easily be a refinished badge based from your description - "It was shiny almost chrome like, the details to the obverse were crap Eg Veins, etc."

        I have to pick it up, Ill swing by my house to get my cam. When I see it again today and my gut says no Ill leave it, but more then likely I will get it as a curiousity.

          I do remember reading a long time ago about a IAB like the one I speak of where the hinge broke a lot and had weird detail. Give me 2 hours and pics might be up.

              Its amazing what your mind conjures up after seeing something, I have an opinion that the obverse is chromed, reverse is bare zink, catch is either replaced or fastened with a healthy dose of adherent. Pics in a minute.
