PAB twins please give me your opinions

    Hi there,

I found these two PAB`s, sorry for the bad pics, now I don`t have daylight.
Is it possible to identify the maker. I have an idea, but a little doubt is there.

    Thanks

    Uwe

            The hell,

I have for both of them a positive COA from Detlev Niemann. The two pieces are from a friend, he bought it some years ago from a dealer in Germany, last year he sent the badges to Detlev for a COA. In next days I will post the COA here !

Well, that will be intesting to see when the time comes. This type of PAB has been considered a fake for a long time. On top of that I've never seen this type of PAB for sale on Detlev's site and yet they can be found just about anyplace at any given time.

                  Uwe.
Why so angry? You got a negative reaction on these badges at another forum and got angry there as well? What is more important to you. The words and wisdom from collector friends or a piece of paper?

common and long time known fake-Detlev been wrong before, he's human-I've seen him pull badges on his update after forum members point out the badge is no good....

theres a place in Nevada that has 100's of these for sale, believed to be made in Austria recently-or thats how the story goes

If you see an eagle head/face like what Peter just posted-RUN

Wow, that's a damn good fake To the novice (me ) the obverse and reverse of the badge are extremely convincing. I'll admit that when I first saw the pictures I didn't know that this was a fake. The hinge and pin caught my eye, but man...
