Austrian Silver General Assault Badges

Greetings,

Does anyone know the story behind the "hollow-back, stamped from wartime stock of bankrupt Austrian maanufacturer" that are listed on the first page of the MARKETPLACE section of this month's Militaria Trader?

Sold by Global Exchange in Nevada. If these are the real deal, I wouldn't mind picking one up for $45.

This guy puts ads just about every month with something different in Military Trader, all mint items like PAB's, GAB's, CCC's from a 'defunct Austrian manufacturer'.

As someone pointed out somewhere else, if this Austrian manufacturer really had all these old TR badges they wouldn't be defunct - they'd be rich from selling them to collectors.
