The pilot badge presented in the last two photos is a complete fake. Your dad was swindled out of his money; I'd love to know from whom he purchased these pieces from.

Gene- Don't hold back....thanks- Most of his items were purchased through dealers in NJ-NY and PA- or at Militaria shows.

I did real well with his daggers- all are real and were just sold...It is the medals and badges that are so dissapointing.

Anyway thanks for the comments and feel free to add more should you feel the need to do so....

Why I collect Imperial....

Here are some interesting and familiar items for sale on eBay by someone in the Bay Area. No mention of these items being repros, but after reading this thread they look familiar. Maybe just a coincidence? Check out "bayareashtuff" 's past auctions as well.

The para patch and some other items were there yesterday, but have disappeared or ended. I wonder why the seller made these all private auctions? Afraid someone would contact the buyers?

You guys are funny- I answer ALL questions truthfully- I can sell anything that I choose to on Ebay- if someone asks if it is real- I refer them to here. I make no Guraantees implied or explicit.
