                  Thank you - I think it's a real stunner! It came out of an older collection!

                  It is quite heavy, approx.. 25g! Here are some better photographs of it:

                    Thanks for the info, have you checked the ring for makermarks? Th reason I ask is that there wad rcently a debate on a L/58 marked piece.

                    Has annyone seen these in lightweight version?

                            I hate to be the tider of bad news but if it's marked L/58 it is most probably a post war Souval.
