        Bar/ribbon/medal construction

My first foray into understanding how Wehrmacht (or all WWII German?) ribbon bars were physically constructed, I wonder.

No doubt there is a thread on this topic somewhere here, and if so please direct me to that and have patience with another novice.

        1. If not, then may I learn or see a diagram or photo of how the textiles are mounted to the bar, how the ribbons are shaped individually and then mounted, and how medals are attached to ribbons?

        2. In order of precedence, were/are they laid out with superior awards to the wearer's right?

        3. I noticed (if eyes have not failed) that in some cases a ribbon of a certain design (as to order of colors, stripes etc.) seems to serve for more than one medal. Am I seeing that correctly?

                              Hi, Pierce.

You must add the Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938 to von Leeb´s ribbon bar.

                              Cheers.

                              Jaime.
