      Great items Ron.

Nice to see a 2nd kls in silver which is a non-rope example.

      Thanks for posting.

      Best,
      Howard

        Nice collection!
I think that the ostvolk badge 1. class in gold (Verdienstauszeichnung) is not original. Maybe you can show us the frontside. But all the rest looks well.

            hi!
If it is the verdienstauszeichnung 1. class in gold which you have show us in your 149 post then it´s also a nice piece.

                Hello Ron,

Very nice collection of Eastern Volunteer Decorations. I think the ring on that one is marked 'L 55': the LDO commercial production number assigned to Rudolf Wächtler & Lange of Mittweida/Sa. The top part of both of the fives is impossible to discern though.

                Best regards,
                Tom

Hi guys. I present to you real proof that all the signs "without ropes" were. These signs are found on the German military positions in Russia.

                        Hi everyone,

I've read several threads and asked myself if there was a link, a "rule", between the shape of the cases for 1st class (gold or silver) and the shape of the hook of the awards ?
Do you think is it a way to date the making and delivering period of the awards ?
Most of awards i saw with round hook are often delivered with a square cornered case and awards with "rectangular" hook are delivered with a rounded cornered case..?

                        Thanks, in advance.
