    Oct. 1, 1938 bronze medal

I have what I believe to be an unfrosted bronze Oct. 1 medal. Is it any good, however? Thanks, Charlie. Bronze on right

Has anyone ever seen one of these in bronze or unfrosted tombak before? Charlie

Hi Charlie have had a few of these in my time and maybe its the pics but i am not that keen. date does not look right and the lettering looks wrong, and more spaced out than normal. Ribbon loop has a mordern look it. Thats just my opinion, lets see what others make of it. All the best

                      side view

                      side, bronze is noticably thinner

I opine that the medal shown on the right in posts 9 and 10 is definitely NFG.
