                Jump Smock Eagle?

                Gentlemen.

Would I be correct in thinking this was a Jump Smock Eagle?

                Best regards, Simon

Not really. It is a standard HBT eagle that is used on the green HBT tunic, a few Field Division smocks, and only extremely rarely on the occasional FJ jump smock.

Gents, what is the eagle on this smock? Never seen similar before

Sergey, that is one of the 3 smocks I have seen with that eagle. This one is a recent discovery. That same eagle (but with a straight line stitch) was also found on a Ground Division jacket. John had that one, while I had one of the smocks.

I found 3 loose eagles like that, but all (I think one was trimmed off) had the straight line stitch, as encountered on the GD jacket

IMO, it was a late war manufacturing thing to save time and effort trimming the eagle. We have seen these olive eagles on earlier smocks.

Many thanks for information, it seems that nobody knows how many kinds of eagles used on smocks. Especially late war manufactured
