smock eagles?

need some help, i have these two LW eagles in my collection but i don´t know where they were used on.....

Jens, IMO the top one is a high quality wool eagle. Could be used on a number of uniforms.

The bottom one is not a smock eagle. This particular style comes in a number of backing color variations. Various blue, gray, green, and olive colors. While many would say the blue gray ones are used on the lightweight flight jacket, I have no idea what the green/ olive ones were used on, as I have yet to see one on a uniform that was untouched.

Similar but not the same. Note the details to the swaz and claws. I have both styles, but have only seen the latter on smocks. So far, as we haven't seen it all yet. Will try to take some photos later.

Hi all
I´m sorrry Jens but your top eagle is a fake, take a look at the this picture
where the 2 lower ealges, that are fake too, and they have the same pattern, on a backing not used for LW eagles. This fake pattern is easy to tell from others, because of the open feathers in the top right wing, and it is almost always found reapplied on uniforms in a crude way, which also is a tell sign of being bad.
