While not standard practice, some paras trimmed their cloth badges close to the wreath before applying to their blouses and tunics for a neater appearance.

Great thread John. Thanks for starting it! I, for one, am learning a lot about cloth jump badges.
Here's my one and only. Given to me earlier in the year by a fellow WAF member and good friend! I think it's a match for image number two.
