My RZ16 reproduction harness and packtray

Just got round to getting some new batteries for the Camera
The belly and chest band buckles for the harness.
all components are either cast or formed in stainless steel.

Here are the New leg strap hooks i've had cast in stainless steel.
The sprung steel strips are added afterwards and rivited on as per originals.The aperture is the correct diameter for the 50mm webbing.The pattern was made up using an original aircrew hook as that was all i could find to use,it then had to be enlarged by the castings Co.. I now have spot on repros for the RZ16's

Pure labor of love! My hat is off to you Bob! I can imagine museums wanting your rigs for proper early Fj displays. Market them well!

Many thanks for your comments ,yes a labour of love It's been a very difficult project and one I would not recommend to be attempted by the faint hearted,went way over budget by a mile,but the end result is very pleasing and i'm glad you like what you see.
Guys these rigs have not been made to deceive,though as with all things someone somewhere will try to do just that,there are subtle differences to look out for,the glaring one is they are all brand new so until someone discovers a bunker in Germany full of them,then these are the next best thing

There is a slight mistake on your label...1st April is English! It should be something like 01.04.1939 or 01.April 1939!
