What do you fella's think?

I can tell Peter, this was not a grave dug helmet. I have your same feelings
about improper relic finding. But, I have a extremly rare single decal para helmet with snow camo. Think about it how many is really out there!!

Extremely Scarce! WWII Fallshirmjager "Paratrooper" winter camo helmet.




2nd model helmet.This helmet as you can see has battle damage, looks to be a concussion split.This helmet was
recovered from a destroyed bunker outside Smolensk, Russia. This helmet has a spanner bolt knocked out along with
a broken chin straps. This item has been subject to combat, age and tear. However, it is a very scarce item that was there!!!
This helmet is in the same condition as it was found. The 7th Flieger Division under General major Richard Heidrich
went up against massive Soviet artillery barrages, infantry and tank attacks during March and April of 1943.
These attacks never completely over come the Fallschirmj******228;ger Division. After the Soviets ceased the major attacks,
General major Richard Heidrich pulled out his men and went to southern France to refit and be part of
the 11th Flieger Corps. I would like hear our member comments on my item.

Hi Matt , here is original ground dug helmet, but it was taken apart by digger who found it . Also he threated liner again . And he didn't assembled it correct , as you can see , the ear strap is located on the rear's place now . This helmet was found 2years ago and i have seen it in my hands .
Nice helmet for my opinion .

Pics are really bad, show a deformed helmet - without decent pics (also from the interior), I would not go there.

Even from the poor pictures, there is no doubt that the liner and straps are fakes. That leaves little hope for the rest of the helmet. I don't like the looks of the rim on the shell either.

Here is another - It looks good to me - however how comes there is heavy rusting to the helmet but not the strap fittings? also the straps hide the lining stitching. Confused on this one. What do others think?

Not without more detailled pics......... I would not turn this one down immediately, but as you say - pics of the stitching, snap, strap details etc. are a must.

He's added more pics now of the liner removed! So Is the shell genuine as he has sold parts of para helmets before. It could all be ok but not original parts if you know what I mean!
