Hi guys! A friend just sent me these photos of a very unique Soldbuch, belonging to SS-Hauptscharführer Hans Siptrott, DKiGträger and holder of the PAB "50"
Siptrott fought at the end of the war in the Kampfgruppe Peiper, and Peiper himself said Siptrott was "one of his best soldier". After 1945 he was sentenced to death because of the Malmedy Massacre, but not executed.

Slight correction: Acc. to the Soldbuch he got the PAB "25," not the '50'.
"II. Stufe" (2nd grade) = 25 Einsatztage/combat days.
Cheers,

A minor contribution from my side:
"ERSATZ-SOLDBUCH" (replacement) for
SS-Sturmbannführer Günther Wöst
German Cross in Gold as Kompanie Chef 3./SS-Panzer Jäger Abt. 1 "LSSAH" on May 6, 1943. (Rollbahn "Nord" 1941 - Kharkov 1943)
Note that this document is issued to Major Wöst on May 1, 1945. I assume the Chefarzt of his hometown of Hamburg meant it well with Wöst, when he issued the document to a Wehrmacht rank. Hence the doc can be seen as a classic "Persil-Schein."
Wöst was a dashing commander who finally commanded the unit "Suleika" of battle group "1001 Nights" at the Oder Front.
Fearing nothing and almost no-one, his superior commander made the following assessment of Wöst on November 1, 1944:
QTE
"Women present a certain danger to him!"
UNQTE
