That's a really nice Soldbuch and Wehrpass set!

It seems to me that in Regiment "Deutschland" they took really good care about documenting close combat days. Quite a number of "Gold" recipients in this regiment. Others neglected them many times...

            Cheers,
            Markus

What is the book which these images appear to of come from?

                              Regards Richard.
Always looking for Luftwaffe Kampfflieger related document groups. In particular anything to Kampfgeschwader 2.

Siptrott fought at the end of the war in the Kampfgruppe Peiper, and Peiper himself said Siptrott was "one of his best soldier". After 1945 he was sentenced to death because of the Malmedy Massacre, but not executed.
Very interesting Soldbuch Sepp , thanks for posting
