    Adr and Rob,

unfortunately is only a cut cover but in any case is the best soldbuch photo that I have.

But about Theo Unkel I have his informations, also that from the stamp on his photo, from his Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz document that I have.

He gains his award during the German retreat to the Dniepr river.

I can only imagine the beauty of the soldbuch if it was been complete.

                    Very nice Thomas,

the one with the Pz. Beret does not appear to be overstamped and perhaps stuck in....do you know it if is the actual Soldbuch holder?

                    /Ian

And I can see why.... Outstanding Soldbuch, Jim!!! That photo would be hard to top.

And Thomas, you know who to contact first if and when you ever decide to sell the Siegfried Freyer Soldbuch

I wouldn't say this is my favorite, but one of the better photo "series" I have in my collection. A pre-war issued Führerschein and two Soldbücher (original issue and replacement) to the same man, Ernst Reinhardt, who served almost the entire war with the 13.Panzer-Division and ended the war as a Leutnant in Panzer-Art.Regiment "Feldherrnhalle-2" of Panzer-Division "Feldherrnhalle-2"
