Sad to see such an interesting thread die out, so here is an attemp to revive it
Here is a sterbebild from Georg Pfifferling, he died on 29 oktober 1944 in Bergen op Zoom. Only the 10th Kompanie of FJR6 was still active in Bergen op Zoom on this date and suffered 36 casualties on the 29th. Buried in a unidentified grave and transported to Ysseylstein in 1949, he must have been identified later on.
His EKM idicates that he was a member of Rekrutenkompanie ./Flieger Ersatz Battalion XII, which fought along side with FJR6 in Geel in the weeks before his death and he must have joined FJR6 around this time.

At the time Georg died there were some heavy fightings in the city 's-Hertogenbosch.
Georg Auer is buried at Ysselsteyn, Holland.
*Always looking for soldbuch, wehrpass, documents and photos that has something to do with the city 's-Hertogenbosch and surrounding villages*

A long time lurker here. I have been collecting since twenty years for now. Sold everything a few years ago when I bought a house.
Now I only collect local material. Unfortunaly there isn't much laying around, but I've managed to find this beauty.
Franz Furgler was born in then Italy. He served on a airfield when he got sick in 1943. The illness got him good. End 1944 he was sent to the front with the 2./F.E.B. 1712. This unit was on the Betuwefront. Probably he went on Stosstruppunternehmen to the other side of the river and in no mans land in direction Opheusden. I also believe this unit belonged to Kampfgruppe Dewald.
