Having studied L/12 marks --- these 2 are original Juncker marks - type 1 .

          Type 1 : 1 and 2 have ' upstrokes ' starting at the same spot .
          Type 2 : 1 and 2 have ' upstrokes ' -not- starting at the same spot !
The different surfaces - flat and curved - give different appearances - --

          Below types in detail .

            Jarek .
The other one has a bad mark - to the left of this one .
Do you had a full picture of this one ?

              There are many fake L/12 marks : some are close and some are not ;
This one is an attempt to copy this one .

here is a other pictures about a full W&L type with mm L/12 on the frame (unfortunately the full front picture missing to me)
the pictures not the best ,because the resolution low

and IMO more mm L/12 exist ,because on the EK1 crosses the marked mark size bigger ,than on the EK2 and that you said different form too.
For me have more Juncker mm type and I now bought a nice collection from a old collector and have in some Juncker type with envelope
I will made pictures when arrive to me

Sorry Douglas, I have not of full picure - only signatur.

But in this photo below I do not like the non-parallelism of the marked lines.
As if the signature was studded twice ...

The L/12 marks are good --> but on both we have - incomplete - L/12 strike !
Not only is the ring round and also curved - so is the L/12 mark actually too big and on a straight axis .
A problem makers with a 3 digit maker number had encountered .
The only way to get around this is to make the number smaller, arch the numbers and or box the numbers .

                            Hi Douglas

I understand what you mean, but these are not good examples - the L / 54 arcuate sign has nothing to do with inaccurate hit or double beat of the signature.
I remain with my opinion, this signature L / 12 I do not like.

                            Regards
                            Jarek

EK1 straight surface on the back of the cross
                                but the ring arched
