                              Another miracle example of a German officer who was awarded the Knights Cross in January 1943 in Stalingrad and was captured a little bit later. I would really like to know how he managed to keep the Knights Cross during his captivity with the Soviets! Look at that thing!

                                Well... Oberst Hans von Luck managed to hide his wartime KC for many years as a POW in soviet captivity.

                                In his memoirs, von Luck wrote that he hid his Knights Cross in a small box, which contained a hidden chamber, when he was being held in Russia.
