General der Fallschirmtruppe Ramcke recieved both platinium and saphire diamonds set through the Red Cross while in captivity. The decorations still are in family hands.

Cool zoom on Graf's diamonds

As already said on this thread, Hermann Graf surrended his decorations to the Russian during captivity, while his silver set of diamonds remained in Germany and survived the war.

The postwar picture is from 1978.

Saucken never got a chance to receive a set of diamonds, but it will be nice to see a closer look on his postwar KC.

According to Adrian Forman, his Type A 2nd form Diamonds set resides in a private collection. A photo of them are shown on page 179 of his book.
