      Sure Rommel had his KC when he lied in that coffin, but it was just for show.
      They removed everything and gave it to the family before he they cremated him.
      Really hope they didnt cremate that nice Africakorps tunic but I guess they did.
      Did they bury/cremate with headgear as well?

                  The swords' overlap pattern is reversed, but this is seen on others, too, I believe.

                  The "dots"on the hilts appear differently spaced, too, but the angle of the photography of Rommel's may affect this.

                    Yes, the sword crossing crossed my mind, too, but I didnĀ“t check many enough and the ones I checked had the same crossing... Damn! I think you got me there, Leroy!

                          One last try. The area under the missing stones is solid on Rommel's and on Hartmann's the hole goes all the way through.
