The EK2 is an extremely rare early B.H. Mayer. I know this core in early B.H. Mayers with their interwar frames and this is their standard ("L/18"), later, WWII-era frame.

There are no markings on the ring or anywhere else.

just to understand clearly, have you seen this core and frame in other EKIIs or have you seen this date and frame in Mayer EKIs ?
I have seen this core and frame on Mayer EK1s, and the frame also on Mayer EK2s. I'm not sure I've ever seen this core on another EK2, but I'm sure they exist.
