Has any one come across a kvk medal with a ring stamp.?
I have picked up lots and never seen one yet.
Whats your thoughts.?

I've only seen one marked 88, but that's it. Never owned one.

I do not have 12 = Frank & Reif in the list . ... which they probably did not make any KvKs ?

No 12 for me either, Are we starting a list of manufacturers? If so here are mine
I have
w/ swords 7, 127, 19 and 1
w/o swords 60, 1, 107, unmarked 84, and a packet for #4.
I think I have seen packets for many others including Deumer #3 and Brehmer #13. Being that so many were issued I'm sure the list is huge as to the makers of these awards.

Douglas i have a packet for the kvk 2nd class 12 thats why i want one.
Naw you have said that i will post picture of the packet for scrutiny.It might be a fake packet but to me its ok but im not a expert.
This will be interesting if the packet turns out to be ok.

I have a list I put together over the years of actualy marked crosses - which I got off of a few different forum sites - probably 95% or more complet now .
I have the KvKs in 4 groups : 2nd class with and without and 1st class with and without . So KN and Dave . Are these actualy marked crosses and need the grade , as it is not mentioned .

Tricky with the packets and unmarked crosses . Is the '12' packet for a 2nd class Kvk with or without swords ?? And some times the maker never marked the cross and is only identifyable by the packet ...... is it an original pair ? Who knows .
KN : those are numbers for KvK 2nd class ... and with or with out swords ?

Hi Douglas,
I was under the impression that KN wanted to start a list of KVK2 as that was the cross that started the thread, so I listed my marked
KVK's and unmarked crosses and packets that I know for sure are original sets, such as Deschler hoard crosses.
It would be interesting to see your list though.

Hi KN : Interesting packet > for a KvK 2nd class with swords .... and appears to be good . Packets are not my area . Post the packet on the case and packet forum to get a review of it .
The chalange is if F&R and others as well - made their own or bought a batch from one or more makers - had packets printed - and sold them as sets ??? I have only been trying to get a list together . Those members that have been working on these may be able to say more . The # 12 or F&R sofar sofar I have not seen them in a list . They did make Black Wound Badges , IABs , PABs and GABs ... machinery with which they probably could make KvKs with . If the sheer numbers is any indication everybody was making them - 2nd class with swords - approx. 60 makers ! And on the other end - 1st class KvK without Swords 6 only !!

I will print the 4 lists once I cleaned them up from scribling in numbers here and there .
