              I would like to see a better photo of the wreath. In the photos provided, the wreath has very little detail.

                  Your informed opinions please. The metal wreath is probably the worst struck for a cloth war order in the history of the third reich. However, the reverse shows no evidence of tampering.

                    The vast majority of wreaths used for the cloth DKs were manufactured by Juncker and are identified as the "second type" wreath. The reason folks are asking for close ups of the wreath and the date, in particular, is beause there typically are distinctive die flaws that help confirm the authenticity of the wreath.

                    I think it is generally accepted that if the wreath is real, the likelihood of the piece being authentic is much higher.

                    I would like to see closer shots of the metal wire on the outside of the wreath and the silver thread on the very outer portion of the star myself.
