    Unusual EK2 ???

Mayby I got this piece "on my hand"
The only thing I can tell for sure is that the core is made of zinc.

But who is the maker? Juncker?

    Is this variation rare?

    Any comments are velcome.
    Enjoy the pictures.

    Best regards Thomas

Interesting EK2s you keep posting, Thomas.

Now, is this one (thread-starter) a match to this one (shown below)?

                  Photos by WAF member Roglebk

I keep asking about this one because, if the maker can be determined (of this 1914-series EK2) then we can also determine the maker of the mysterious 1870-series "wideframe" EK2.

                  So, two questions:

                  1) Can we put a maker to the 1939-series EK2 Thomas posts here?
                  2) Does the EK2 Thomas posts here match the 1914-series EK2 shown above?

                  Thanks!
                  Best regards,
                  Streptile

The webbing near the inside corners (outside of the inside corners on the beading) reminds me of a W&L.

Thank you, Robert. Do you believe it matches the 1914-series shown above? I honestly can't say, myself.

Thanks for the composite, I am not at my home computer and couldn't get that done. To me, it seems a good match. There are a few minor differences that I would put down to wear. Do you agree that it's the same die?

This webbing is a dominant feature in W&L crosses...

                              I see differences, Trevor.
