Here is another Mappe of an 'Oberleutnant' I once visited. This is also in his original cardboard box. He gave me the opportunity to take a picture of his Mappe. The Mappe was in new condition.

You all may not get as excited over a Heer Mappe, but here is mine for Karl-Ludwig Blumenthal of Panzer Grenadier Regiment Großdeutschland.

Blumenthal was commander of 7. Kompanie at the time. He received the award in 1942 for seizing a key bridge by hasty attack that allowed the armored forces to cross the Don River at Vorohnez. This mappe is especially important to my collection as he received the award before the Regiment expanded to Division strength...so it is pure GD.
