I know it's not a fleamarket find but is a stunning piece. An original Steinhauer and Luck cross with original 900 21 oaks.
Also nice Himmy signature.
I think it's a keeper, matching nice with your other RK documents...

I have to concurr with Pieter's comments.

An absolutely fantastic set and surely not the fruit of just one visit to the original recepient of the cross.

It sometimes "pays off" to get to know these "old warriors" not only for the momentos they might still have, but also to hear the stories straight from the people who have been "there".

I have to agree with Pascal's sentiments. The award is just icing on the cake, being able to converse with the soldier, and understanding the man behind the award would be the real treasure.

This is one of the FEW SS-documents ever made. It is in perfect condition, original signed by Hitler and awarded to one of the famoused SS-officers of the 2nd WW.

This is one of the rarest artifacts ever posted on this forum.
