    Yes!

IMO this Schinkel B/rounded 3 version is more assign to "rounded 3" versions than "Schinkel"

          Hi Daniel,

I have had 2 more pinback, bot unmagnetic.

Maybe thee one owned by your friend has a magnetic pin, I had one of those as well.

I do think however that they were not made with an iron core.

          Best regards
          Ben

Number 5 in this thread, "Intermixed Schinkel"

Got the "Intermixed Schinkel" from Daniel and would like to comment on the "Intermixed" part of the description, to me it looks like a true '1914 frame' Schinkel with a frame from one of the 1914 EKII's, look at the pic comparing it to a H-marked 1914 EKII, Deumer and Meybauer Schinkel. Now i'll go through the database of known marked 1914 EKII's, maybe there is a frame that matches somewhere? Would be very nice to attribute another unknown one to a maker.

                        8. Iron Cross 1939 Second Class

                        maker: Unknown

                        „progressive II“ EK II version

The frame has the normal EK II design, but number design, size and the little swastica are elements of schinkel.
I have only seen 2 EK II of this type.
An association to schinkel family is a matter of opinion. I think it’s the next level after the schinkel EK II number 5.
In fact it’s no schinkel EK II but through the mixing of different design elements (schinkel and standard) it’s an interesting early EK II version for an EK-collector.

                        - three part
                        - non-magnetic
                        - wide: 43,00 mm
                        - height: 43,00 mm
                        - weight: 12,6 g
                        - typical early number design
                        - little swastica

                            Schinkel “intermixed”

                            Attention:
The term “intermixed” version is made of my own and it’s no official term.

The frame isn’t complette schinkel like but no standard EK II like, too.
There are elements of schinkel and standard EK II intermixed.

                            - three part
                            - magnetic
                            - wide: 43,41 mm
                            - height: 43,04 mm
                            - weight: 19,53 g
                            - standard number design
                            - little swastica

Found a match to this in the Imperial section. Looks like it's a true Schinkel after all, hunt goes on for the maker!
