    Excellent and informative Grueni...

I'm sure it would be interesting for all of us to see close-up how the frame of the L/11 marked 1914 ek2 compares to the frame of the 'Deumer' schinkel.

    If you have time...

    Again - great job.

          Schinkel “intermixed”

          Attention:
The term “intermixed” version is made of my own and it’s no official term.

The frame isn’t complette schinkel like but no standard EK II like, too.
There are elements of schinkel and standard EK II intermixed.

          - three part
          - magnetic
          - wide: 43,41 mm
          - height: 43,04 mm
          - weight: 19,53 g
          - standard number design
          - little swastica
Thank you for helping me find a name for this cross ." INTERMIXED " sounds great.
Shown here with a narrow ribbon.

          Regards,
          ____________

                progressive“ EK II version

The frame has the normal EK II design, but number design, size and the little swastica are elements of schinkel. I don’t have this Schinkel version and I have only this picture.
I have only seen 2 EK II of this type.
An association to schinkel family is a matter of opinion. I think it’s the next level after the schinkel EK II number 5.
In fact it’s no schinkel EK II but through the mixing of different design elements (schinkel and standard) it’s an interesting EK II version for an EK-collector.

                - three part
                - magnetic
                - wide: 43,00 mm
                - height: 43,00 mm
                - weight: ???
                - typical early number design
                - little swastica
Are you sure this one is magnetic?
I have this one in pinback, screwback and ek2, all 3 are non-magnetic (zinc core)

                Best regards,
                Ben

The picture and the EK II are from a friend and he said it's magnetic.

I'm think that your source of information is not correct.
The cross is mine so I just made a picture on the scale.
Because f the darkness I'm not able to ae better pictures but the cross has been posted before in this thread.
