I just recieved this nice unmarked EK1, a Zimmerman. I was apprehensive when I first bought it as I heard it was identical to Godet crosses, which I had in my collection, an L/50 marked piece. However the price was good and it's a nice one. Now that I have it in hand I see subtle differences in the two crosses. The hardware on the Zimmerman is smaller in dimension than my Godet, and I believe the date on the Zimmerman is a little larger than the Godet. Any thoughts on this? I will be posting a seperate thread later comparing the two. I'm keeping this cross for sure. Glad I grabbed it.
