Liberated RK
Mooyman was captured by the Americans, in an interview given in 1967 he told of the cross being liberated so to speak , he bought a replacement
in the 1950's in Germany. So if this is his replacement RK Juncker crosses were available postwar to purchase albeit via contacts or unofficial channels.Mooynman was lucky he would have probably have been shot if the Ivans had nabbed him.Still all this beggars the question vis a vis pre 1945 crosses.

Where are the big hitters on this ?
It is enlightening, particularly when those of us who relied on informed information, are now subject to what are intriguing anamolies. So we need to discuss what on earth is happening here. The the cynic in me suggests
any of us can attribute, yet what of the Juncker dies...old stock possibly?
Rather unless the thing is so beaten and obviously worn with pride from the family who can tell, this is a bad, seriously bad juncture in collecting.

Thety must have a giant stock btw, since the dies were (alledgely) destroyed in 1944....

We could doubt every Third Reich medal, uniform, helmet etc. but then I think it would be better to just quit the hobby.
Thanks

As far as i know, the KC sold by DN was restored. I even heard that the frame was opened to get rid of the rust...
Moreover Mooyman never stated that he also gave his other medals to a collector. If you look at the pictures taken from him after the KC ceremony, you will easily see that Mooyman did not wear a W&L EK1 (and such an EK was sold within the group).
That is no proof at all, but it would make it hard to believe for me that the group is "real"...
