Rob, here is mine if it helps (positive or negative). It is almost identical to the L/11 Jon posted that was vet aquired from Bob(?). The eagle is identical to it. Pin is close to. Cheers...JeffComment

I can't help but note that you have all passed up this combo I started the thread with. There must be a good reason. I take it no one likes it. Well, I'm going to pass on it too just because it sits unsold still. Bob, your L/18 is quite the cased piece! I would hate to guess what that gem would cost on the market today, cased as it is and in such fine condition! What a beautiful piece!

I actually like the one you are looking at Robert. I love the period safety catch. I have seen that on a period pilot/observer. My feeling is if they are going to hump this up, there is not going to be a safety catch on it. Just my gut feeling...Cheers...JeffComment
