    Detlev L15 EK1

Looks to be a cross between a Floch and a Rounder. Anyone have comments on this one?

Never been a fan of the one piece cross let alone this one what bugs me most is this.

The "L" stamp to me would indicate that this was made after the introduction of the LDO code and regulations. I find it very strange that a one piece cross (and an ugly one at that) would bear such a mark.

But it's sold, with a COA most likely.

If I remember correctly, this type was discussed here already before. Maybe somebody can find that thread?

I have my doubts on this one
if it is a fake, why is Detlev giving it a COA?
I dont say its a fake, but i sure dont like it

                  Peter's L15 compared to Detlev's cross.

Then what are you saying? I think it is pretty obvious what this one is. Bad!

i dont say it is a fake because i m just not an expert in it!
but there are people who are experts (and many who think they are)
                      and claiming its a fake
so now is my question, if it is a fake, Detlev should know it
If he does know it, why is he giving it a COA?

I would think that if he gives a COA that he wouldn't "know". At any rate, his COA does not say he knows, it says that 'in his opinion' and that's what people are buying, his opinion.

thats what's bothering me, people buy things with a COA, but that doesnt mean they are original

but when i see something with a COA (from Detlev), i presume it is an original piece... but none of it is true...

                          lets get back to the ek1;
I would not buy it, even if an expert tells me it is original

I always thought the Floch pin was longer then the one pictured on Detlevs site?

EDIT, Never mind Mixed up the lengths

                              How true.

                              No COA guarantees originality.

It only states the opinion of the person issuing it.
