Wow - again, this place is a source of knowledge here one will not encounter even reading books for 12 hrs straight - thanks for the quick and competent answers. Thanks for all your replies and confirmations.
Marcus - I'm up for it, let's compare! - you might have a better pic of your motif, I resized th motif from our pic above. The first difference I notice is the pebbled background behind the swasi. Then the grips of the swords are totally different, too. Does anyone out there have another KVK motif to share and compare?
    Cheers
    Rainer

Heinrich my friend you have me thinking now ........I'm sure it's a zincer though; however my one marked 3 has a different set up again (which is of course a zincer)

Thats great Rainer , I see rather interesting differences in your hard case motif to my hard case example. My pic may be of poor dpi, so let me see if I can find another scan/pic of my motif and lets see what that yeald, which should be interesting !

Your case will be a D&B ''all over'', the base, lid and bottom of the case - with codes too and the stamped D&B.

My hard case is of a slightly different construction and has a KB 621 base.

KB as far as I can tell and more specifcally than you may read in previous posts of this concern (researched), supplied bases and I do certainly think they constructed boxes for sale too. But, not every KB based case is made by KB of course more to the point.

                Kvk

I have a case (posted earlier) that has the same KVK design. I got it out and looked at the swastika and it is also outlined with white dots.

Looks similar to the one I posted if one neglects the different color, or is that just the lighting, berlin?

                    Kvk

It is just the lighting, the swas is silver.

                      Hi

First the box looks good. I've got the same one here's a pic of mine and Marcus Hatton wow man that's the nicest KVK I've ever seen. If you ever want to let that go please, please, please let me know.

Thanks for posting, guys. That one looks like a match, the texture of the case a little glossier, but the cross print.... - is it a D&B case as well?
                        Cheers

                          War Service Cross 1st. Class

                          Rainer,

My case is identical to yours and container a nice "1" marked convex Deschler KVK.

Inside the case the D & B marks are also the same.

                          Here are some photos.
